Safe destruction of outdated, sensitive financial statements*, receipts, invoices, checks/check duplicates, etc. will be shredded on-site. We're also accepting non-perishable food items for a local food pantry (participation optional).

TIME: 8:30 AM - 11:30 AM

Up to three brown paper bags or medium-sized boxes (100 pounds) per person may be shredded.

Shredding of paper only. Staples and paper clips do not need to be removed. Please remove binder clips. 3-ring binders and other hard covers not accepted.

Tax Season Reminders

If you financed a New Vehicle in 2025 that qualifies for the One Big Beautiful Bill Act tax deduction check your year-end account statement to see the amount of interest paid on the loan, or if you paid off the loan please check the statement issued to you for the month of the payoff.

(Consumers should seek advice from a qualifed tax professional to determine if their vehicle loan qualifies for the OBBBA interest deduction)

Reminder: If you are enrolled in eStatements, your 1099 and 1098 Tax Forms will be delivered electronically. Watch your messages within 1st CCU Anywhere.

Please Note: 1099 and 1098 forms are only sent if (1) you've earned $10 or more in dividends for the tax year, (2) you've paid $600 or more in mortgage interest for the tax year.
