Full-Time Consumer Loan Officer - West Salem

1st Community Credit Union is seeking applicants for the position of Consumer Loan Officer (CLO) in our West Salem office.  Responsible for interviewing and evaluating applicants for consumer loans and processing loan applications to completion. Gathers background information, analyzes loan applicant's credit history, approves or denies loan applications based on analysis. Provides information on credit union products, services, and additional loan products. Promotes the credit union to potential members. Develops business contacts. High School diploma required. Three years of MSR or equivalent financial lending experience with a proven ability to cross sell products and services preferred. Knowledge of various office machines/equipment and use of computer (Word, Excel & Access). Proven ability to analyze complicated factual and mathematical situations, apply functional principles, and develop solutions. Valid WI driver's license required.


Full-Time Technology Specialist II - Sparta Office

1st Community Credit Union seeking a Technology Specialist II for a new position in our growing Operations Department.  The Technology Specialist II will be based out of our Sparta office, but will assist employees in all of 1st CCU's locations. Installs, upgrades, and maintains computer hardware and peripheral equipment. Assists in technology needs with outsourced vendors for efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Provides technical support and consultation for workstations, assists with troubleshooting, repair, and installation. Responsible for developing, testing, recommending, and implementing workstation applications and processes. Oversees phone system & email system, maintains inventory of IT hardware and software, monitors backup, security management, user account management, and VPN access.
Qualified candidates will need to have an Associate's degree in a computer-related field and/or 4 years of relevant experience at a financial institution. Requires special technical knowledge of the techniques and procedures of software and network support for a credit union. Proven ability to understand installation, configuration and troubleshooting processes, work independently, and have strong communication and training skills to include being able to communicate technical information to non-technical users.  Knowledge of Symitar Episys core processing system, SQL and PowerOn knowledge is a plus. 

Part-Time Member Service Representative - Sparta Office

We are accepting applications for Full-Time and Part-Time Member Service Representatives to assist our members with various financial transactions, as well as providing education about our products and services.
Positions range from 20 hours per week to 40 hours per week.

We are looking for individuals who are passionate about member/customer service, who enjoy working in a team and results-oriented environment, and have flexible availability and a positive attitude. Qualified candidates will need to have a high school diploma and we prefer prior cash handling experience. Also need to have a knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, basic math skills, and thrive in an environment that can adapt to multiple duties throughout your day.


Full-Time Mortgage Loan Officer - West Salem Office

1st Community Credit Union is looking for a Mortgage Loan Officer (MLO). Work mainly out of our West Salem office, with the flexibility to travel to Sparta and Tomah offices to meet with borrowers. If selected for this position you would be expected to interview, prepare and process the loan applications, communicate the loan decisions, assists with answers to our members questions during the loan process, assists in implementing quality control, education, policy guidelines, and pricing/logistic standards for the various lending programs to include: Mortgage Portfolio, Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae. Our credit union likes to be involved in the communities we serve, so volunteering and developing business relationships is an essential function of this position. We work better together, and a team environment is how we operate. This position will require flexibility with hours, an outgoing personality, and ability to multi task and thrive on detail and organization. If you have three years of real estate lending experience in a financial environment, we would like to meet you.
