You may receive notification of certain account activity via text message or e-mail by registering for eAlerts within CU Online Home Banking. eAlerts can provide you with a feeling of comfort and security because you can be assured of being instantly notified when activity on your account occurs. We offer the following eAlerts:
- Deposit Alert
Notification of Automatic or Direct Payroll deposits to Savings or Checking Accounts
- Low-Balance Alert
Notification when balance in checking account has gone below the dollar amount you specify
- Loan Payment Reminder
Notification that a loan payment is coming due. You choose how many days in advance of the payment due date to receive the notice
- Home Banking Login Alert
Notification of successful log-in to Online Banking. Recommended for testing Alert Setup or for members who have security concerns about Online Banking
- News Alert
You would receive an alert generated by 1st CCU. For example, notification of Phone Scams in our area, etc.
- Loan Rate Alert
Notification that the credit union's loan rates have been changed on our website
- Deposit Rate Alert
Notification that the credit union's savings rates have been changed on our website
- Newsletter Alert
Notification that a new 1st CCU Newsletter has been posted to the credit union's website
Secure
The text messages or e-mails you choose to receive contain short messages with a masked account number. You control the alerts you wish to receive by selecting them in Online Banking and you have the ability to change your alerts whenever you wish.
Convenient
If you are enrolled in CU Online Home Banking you may begin setting up alerts immediately. Log into online banking and click on My Account at the bottom of the screen.
Free
eAlerts are a free service provided by 1st Community Credit Union. If you choose to receive Text Alerts on your mobile phone the standard text messaging charges from your cell phone carrier may apply, depending on your plan.

Message Addresses for cellular phones in our area:
When setting
yourself up for Text Alerts, the Text Message Address is made up of the cellular
phone's 10-digit phone number followed by the cell provider's specified gateway.
Example:
6081234567@celltextaddress.net
Here
are a few popular cell plan text message addresses. Log into Home Banking,
click on My Account (bottom of the screen),
choose Change My Alerts, and enter the Text Message
Address (along with your 10 digit phone number) that is indicated for
your service provider. Finally, customize your alert settings and save
the changes.
