You know a good deal when you see it, but you also lead a busy life. That's why we've made it faster and easier for you to switch your accounts to 1st Community Credit Union. Follow these simple steps to make your switch and discover the benefits of becoming a Credit Union member/owner: |

Become a member of 1st Community Credit Union by opening a Primary Share Account and a Share Draft Checking account. Using the New Account Conversion Checklist begin closing down your accounts at other financial institutions, leaving sufficient funds in those accounts long enough for outstanding transactions to clear.
Switch your direct deposit and automatic payments or withdrawals to your new 1st CCU account. Print and complete the Switch Kit forms and send them as written notification:
Direct Deposit Change Request Form- use to notify your employer (or other source) to begin sending direct deposits to your new 1st CCU accounts
Automatic Withdrawal Change Request Form- send to each of your current automatic payment vendors (utilities, mortgage, insurance, etc.) to notify them that you wish to have all future payments deducted from your new 1st CCU account

Once all transactions have cleared, you'll want to close the old account completely by submitting a
Account Closeout Authorization Form form to your previous financial(s).
